Head Drawing with Holly Marie

In this class, participants will learn the fundamental proportions and structure of the human face while developing their observational drawing skills. Guided instruction will help build a strong foundation, and students will have the opportunity to draw from a live model, gaining valuable experience in capturing likeness and expression.

Open to all skill levels, this class is ideal for beginners eager to try head drawing for the first time, as well as more experienced artists looking to refine and strengthen their techniques. All supplies are provided.

HOLLY MARIE CROWTHER

Returning to the RiverPlace classroom after previously teaching Beginner Drawing and Intermediate Drawing courses, Holly Marie Crowther is a Warroad-based artist who specializes in oil and watercolor painting. She graduated in 2018 with a BFA in Illustration and loves telling stories through her art. She finds much of her inspiration in nature and enjoys incorporating natural elements into her work.
