Learn how to make two classic holiday treats—crispy krumkake and soft lefse—in a fun, hands-on workshop perfect for the festive season!
We’ll have the dough prepared ahead of time so we can dive right into the fun. Students will take turns rolling out lefse, working at the griddles, and making krumkake on the irons and molding them around the cones.
Each student will leave with an assortment of fresh krumkake and lefse to take home, along with the confidence to recreate them for family and friends.
Instructor: Carolyn Fortier, who was raised in the Malung area celebrating her Nordic heritage, speaking and reading Swedish and honoring the customs and traditions of her roots
