In this class, we’ll use two sewing patterns to make a market bag and matching zipper pouch. Along the way, you’ll learn several useful sewing techniques that you can take with you into future projects—and you’re sure to have some laughs along the way.

We’ll cover how to read and interpret sewing patterns and directions, sew a hidden slip pocket, install a zipper, work with a lining, and create gussets.

Each student will receive a kit with the materials needed to make the matching set, including two patterns, coordinating fabric, a zipper, interfacing, and fusible fleece.
