Experience the captivating storytelling of the Woodland Sky Native American Dance Company through dance, music, movement, and song. Every step, expression, and rhythm shares stories that honor Native history, culture, and traditions, creating a powerful and immersive visual experience that educates and inspires audiences of all ages.
Featuring a variety of traditional dance styles—including hoop dance, shield dance, eagle dance, jingle dress dance, grass dance, men's and women's fancy, traditional, and woodland—each performance offers a rich, vibrant, and engaging cultural experience.
This special evening performance features the company's full program and is open to the entire community. While Warroad students will enjoy highlights of the performance during the school day, the evening presentation offers the complete showcase of Woodland Sky's storytelling, music, and dance, made possible for our community by the Warroad Native American Education Program.

About Woodland Sky Native American Dance Company
Established in 2013, the Woodland Sky Native American Dance Company is a professional performance group based in the Great Lakes region. Created to share the stories behind Native songs, dances, and traditions, the company presents performances as a visual story that brings history, culture, and tradition to life through dance, music, and movement.

How do I get tickets? Warroad RiverPlace is handling the box office for this event. You must pick your seat for this show. Tickets can be purchased using the “Tickets” button above, by calling 218-986-0001, or stopping by RiverPlace at 103 State Avenue Tuesday-Saturday, 10-5.
What is the seating arrangement for this production? Seating will be in our normal theater mode with pit, mezzanine, and orchestra seating, including an accessibility row. If you require additional assistance or accomodations for this production, please contact RiverPlace at 218-986-0001.
How do I check in? Please be prepared to show your tickets upon entering the performance hall. If you are having any issues, please contact RiverPlace at 218-986-0001.

When do doors open? RiverPlace doors open at 5 PM and performance hall doors open at 5:30 PM.
Is there an intermission? The performance will be approximately 90 minutes without an intermission.
What is the age range for this show? This event is open to all ages.

Is there accessibility seating? Yes. The Warroad RiverPlace performance hall includes accessible seating—designated spaces for individuals who use wheelchairs and companion seats. The hall has an accessible seating row in the front of the orchestra level, with accessibility to the mezzanine level via elevator lift. The accessibility row also offers movable seats, allowing showgoers to sit in a theater seat rather than their wheelchair, walker, or other assistive device. Are my tickets refundable? Yes, tickets can be returned to this free event. If you are unable to make it to the performance, please let us know ahead of time so your tickets can be released to the public. Contact us at 218-986-0001 or arts@warroadriverplace.org.

Can I bring food or drink into the performance hall? Unless otherwise noted, food and drink are not allowed in the performance hall.
Are mezzanine/balcony seats available for this production? Yes! Please note that only ages 18+ are allowed in this seating area.
Can I take photos or videos? The taking of unauthorized video or photos is prohibited unless announced otherwise.

Where do I park? We offer free parking along Highway 11, including four accessible parking spaces. Need to be dropped off? Our front, canopied entry accommodates easy drop-off access for our patrons.
What if I arrive late? We don't want you to miss a moment, so please be on time! If you arrive after show start, RiverPlace staff will help escort you to a seat at an appropriate break in the action. You may be seated in an alternative location designated for late arrivals until intermission.
