Hosted by the Northwest Minnesota Arts Council
Celebrate the Creativity of Our Region!
The annual Northwest Minnesota Art Exhibit celebrates the vibrant talent of artists from across the seven-county region—Kittson, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake Falls, and Roseau. Each year, this traveling exhibit brings together artists of all ages, showcasing the incredible diversity of artistic expression in our communities.
From bold experimentation to masterful technique, the exhibit features painting, sculpture, pottery, photography, mixed media, digital art, fabric, and more. Every piece tells a story, offering a glimpse into the creativity and imagination flourishing throughout our region.
Featured Artists
With adult artists from 19 communities across all seven counties, this showcase includes 70 works by 44 artists that span a wide range of styles and mediums. Each artwork is a testament to dedication, craft, and the passion that fuels our local arts community.
Students in the Spotlight
Young artists from seven schools—including Ada Borup West, East Grand Forks, Grygla, Lancaster, Red Lake Falls, Thief River Falls (TRF), and homeschool students—bring fresh perspectives and bold ideas to the exhibit. The 44 pieces by 36 students highlight curiosity, growth, and exploration of medium and form.
