Pianist and composer Philip Daniel transforms live music into an immersive journey, blending original piano compositions, electronics, and subtle percussion with a stunning digital visual display. As he performs, RiverPlace will come alive with waves of color and cinematic imagery, inviting the audience to fully experience the performance. Rooted in classical training and shaped by modern film and minimalism, his music is both powerful and deeply evocative, creating an atmosphere that stays with you long after the final note.

Meet the Artist
PHILIP DANIEL
Originating from Lincoln, Nebraska, Daniel is a distinguished pianist and composer, acclaimed for his ability to evoke powerful emotions through his music. He holds a master’s degree in Piano Performance from the UMKC Conservatory and a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Hastings College. He has cultivated a musical voice that gracefully merges classical elements, cinematic qualities, and minimalist characteristics. His main vehicle is the piano merged with electronics/percussion. Daniel’s compositions resonate with both seasoned musicians and casual listeners, creating a profound impact on a diverse audience. In addition to his solo projects, he has established a niche, full-time career writing music for dance. He has worked with notable companies such as Jacob Jonas, Whim Whim, Salt Dance, and most recently, the Kansas City Ballet Company, to name a few. His music has been listened to over 100 million times and featured in countless films worldwide. Philip also maintains an active performing career, touring throughout the United States in the fall and spring. Daniel currently resides in Lincoln, Nebraska, with his wife, daughter, and dog.

How do I get tickets? Warroad RiverPlace is in charge of ticketing for this event. Tickets can be purchased online (see link above), over the phone (218-986-0001), or at RiverPlace (103 State Avenue, Tuesday-Saturday, 10 AM-5 PM).
What is the seating arrangement for this production? Tickets are general admission. Seating will be in our normal theater mode with pit, mezzanine, and orchestra seating, including an accessibility row.
How do I check in? Tickets for this event will arrive in your email inbox. Please be prepared to show your tickets on your phone or in print format upon entering the performance hall.
When do doors open? Performance hall doors will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the show.
What if I can't find my tickets? No worries! RiverPlace staff is here to help. Please contact us if you are having a hard time locating your electronic tickets or if you need any assistance. Is there accessibility seating? Yes, the Warroad RiverPlace performance hall includes accessible seating—designated spaces for individuals who use wheelchairs and companion seats. The hall has an accessible seating row on the main level in the front of the orchestra level, with accessibility to the mezzanine level via elevator lift. The accessibility row also offers movable seats, allowing showgoers to sit in a theater seat rather than their wheelchair, walker, or other assistive device.

Are my tickets refundable? Tickets may be refunded up to 24 hours in advance of the show.

Can I bring food or drink into the performance hall? Unless otherwise noted, food and drink are not allowed in the performance hall.
Are mezzanine/balcony seats available for this production? Yes! Please note that only ages 18+ are allowed in this seating area.
Can I take photos or videos? The taking of unauthorized video or photos is prohibited unless announced otherwise.

Where do I park? We offer free parking in our lot along Highway 11, including four accessible parking spaces. Need to be dropped off? Our front, canopied entry accommodates easy drop-off access for our patrons.
What if I arrive late? We don't want you to miss a moment, so please be on time! If you arrive after show start, RiverPlace staff will help escort you to a seat at an appropriate break in the action. You may be seated in an alternative location designated for late arrivals until intermission.
